This unit replaced an older model bunn with many years of reliable service and by far it exceeds my expectations. I especially like the fact that you don't need a separate measuring container.
Coffe Pot is everything that I heard about Bunn Products , the service and delivery was outstanding.
Have used a Bunn machine for the last 20 years, but quality has really gone downhill. This is our 3rd machine. Don't know if it's heating the water hot enough, or too hot.If we try to make a strong pot of coffee, the basket overflows. The skunky, plastic odor has been overwhelming (and I have a large open kitchen). We thought it would subside with time, but after a month, it's still pretty bad. We're using a Capresso burr grinder to grind our own beans, and no matter what grind, we can't seem to get a decent cup of coffee with this Bunn model. We are using the taller Bunn filters too.The machine is mostly plastic, and doesn't seem to be put together very well.kinda crooked, cheap.Previous machines have been better quality, and made great coffee. Don't know what's wrong with this one, but we're not happy with it.
Gift for my husband who gets up early and loves the coffee from this new Bunn pot.worth the money.
I also love that you are able to use tap water, even if it has that "chlorine taste" that nobody likes. It just got replaced with this new one. I bought my first Bunn 10 years ago. A Bunn keeps a pot of hot water in reserve (that is why it is so fast). I love a Bunn because it makes coffee (or water for hot tea) so quickly. The flavor is even better with this new one, and it uses less coffee than the old one did. and as it keeps the water warm I guess the chlorine evaporates, or perhaps it just magically disappears, but however it works, it works. So thanks Bunn for your assistance in me being able to brew the best cup of coffee in the world.
